Multidimensional database-related calculations are mostly pushed down to the database for in-database computing. The computing performance depends mainly on the computing power of the database server itself.

When the Yonghong product docks the Multi-Dimensional Data Set, the calculation performance is greatly improved. Check the Use Sample (SAP and ORACLE ESSBASE default check). When the Dashboard drags and binds the column, the first n rows of the data of all the fields are cached first. For n rows of data, then when the A field is bound, it is calculated according to the A field. If you do not check the use of the sample, Dashboard will calculate one when taking a field, and calculate it instantly.

 

In addition, the dimension filter function of the Multi-Dimensional Data Set can filter the members under the dimension, first filter and then crossjoin, which greatly improves the computing performance of the Yonghong product.
