Note: Yonghong Y-Reporting does not support Brush and Zoom.

Brush and zoom tools can be used for focus analysis to generate data co-movement Brush applies to tables, pivots, and charts, while zooming works only for charts.

 

❖Brush

1.The user can directly click the brush button  to enter the brush mode.

2.Directly double-click inside the table or pivot (the header area does not support). Double-click on the marker, legend, and axes of the chart to enter the brush mode.

➢Note: You cannot enter the brush mode when the component has no dimension information.

3.After entering the brush mode, the dimension information of the highlighted area is sent out to filter the data of other components. The components that are affected can be tables, pivots, freestyle tables, charts, texts, gauges.

 

❖Zoom

1.Use the mouse to click on a marker in the chart.

2.Click on the zoom button  at the top right of the chart. The selected marker will be zoomed in. If you need to focus on multiple markers, holding down Ctrl key, choose multiple markers, and click the zoom button to enter the zoomed-in state.

3.When you use the zoom function on a chart, it links with other components (tables, pivots, freestyle tables, charts, gauges, texts) that have the same data source.

4.Click the zoom button to exit the zoom mode.
