Z-Data Modeler is one of the core modules of Yonghong Z-Suite. It is connected to the data source as the first-level interface of the software。The original data is filtered and optimizesd according to the customer's needs, providing input for subsequent data analysis operations. Considering that the data types, data structures, data ranges, and database types are various and complex ,that cannot be directly used for data analytics. They must be filtered based on user requirements and the specifications of Yonghong Z-Suite before they can be recognized by the system, and then data can be used for data analytics. Therefore the purpose of Data Modeler is to provide various conditions, strictly filter data  and output sutitable data for other functional modules.

Z-Data Modeler includes two main modules for creating data sets and data set engines. Users define various data set conditions by creating a data set to provide analysis models and input criteria for subsequent data analysis. After a large mount of raw data enters Data Modeler, the data set engine permutates and combines the data based on preset conditions, generates a data set list and provides services for future data analytics. Data Modeler provides various levels of data sets for the different  requirements of users of the data sets and the complexity of the technologies that they can provide.

The "Create Data Set" module currently supports nine types of data sets. Users can get the final data set form, through various operations, such as  define data set, connect to database connections and filter data. Yonghong Z-Suite provides ten types of data sets, namely,SQL Data Set, Mongo Data Set, Excel Data Set, Composed Data Set, Data Mart Data Set, Embedded Data Set, Custom Data Set, Self-Service Data Set, and Multi-Dimensional Data Set.

Users can enter the page of "Create Data Set" through one of the following three ways:

In the homepage you can quickly enter the SQL Data Set page, Excel Data Set page, and Self-Service Data Set page. If your license is not granted with the Self-Service Data Set permission, Composed Data Set is displayed on the homepage.

Click "Create Data Set" in the navigation, and then click a data set to enter the creation page.

If you have opened a data set page, click "New" on the menu bar and then click a data set to enter the creation page.
