Data mart supports horizontal expansion of nodes. After adding a new node, if the original file is failed to be automatically equalized in the mart, new data will be stored on the new node when appending, and the utilization rate of old node will drop. The calculation will be offset in the cluster. Therefore, two ways are provided to move the data mart files to achieve data mart files equalization throughout the mart environment.

Data mart nodes equalization mainly includes automatic equalization and manual equalization. When viewing the dashboard of Data Mart File Distribution Statistics, the distribution state of the current data mart file will be displayed: equalized or not equalized. Please note that in order to ensure normal equilibrium of files, the system will automatically distribute the files in all the disequilibrium folders to all Map nodes until reaching equilibrium. 

 

In case of file distribution disequilibrium in data mart, you can move files in the selected folder among Map nodes by manual mode. You need select a cloud folder, remove from node ip,move into node ip, and the files to be moved.
