Financial year refers to the financial year. In our country, a fiscal year is from January 1 to December 31; but many companies also have their own fiscal years. For example, the fiscal year is from October 1st to September 30th of the following year, so the 2010 fiscal year starts on October 1, 2009 and ends on September 30, 2010.
❖Set the Start of the Financial Year
By default, the financial year starts in January.
To set the start of the financial year, you need to click More-Start of financial year on the date column, and then select the month, as shown in the figure below:
For example:
If today is 2020-11-03 and the financial year is set to May, then today is the 2021 financial year quarter 3.
