YOYGR and chain relative ratio are applicable to tables, pivots and chart components. Generally, they are used to analyze the growth rate of current stage and the previous stage.

Year-on-year is the comparison between certain cycle of current stage and the same cycle of the previous stage. It is applicable to observe the change of an indicator at different stages, for example a day of current week to that of the last week, month of current year to that of the last year etc.; month-on-month refers to equal time comparison between certain stage and the last stage, for example the last week and current week, the last month and current month, the last quarter and current quarter etc. It is used to represent the continuous trend of data.

The product provides two modes to calculate the month-on-month ratio: Calculate according to date dimension and non-date column.
