Copy/Cut/Paste Components

Previous pageReturn to chapter overviewNext page

Under smart layout, users can copy/cut/paste individual components or multiple components.

When the user needs to copy/cut a single component, first select the component that needs to be copied/cut, right-click the copy/cut component option on the component, and then right-click and paste the component in the specified area (or shortcut Ctrl+V) , you can cut/copy the current component from the dashboard edit area to the specified area of the specified dashboard.

When users need to copy/cut multiple components at a time, they need to select multiple components at the same time using the Ctrl key, and then use the shortcut Ctrl+C Copy/Ctrl+X Cut. Or you can use Ctrl+A to select all the components in the dashboard for copying/cutting.

When pasting components in a smart layout, the position of the mouse click serves as the insertion position, and the copied/cut components are inserted. When pasting multiple components at the same time, the principle of component insertion sequence is the same as when moving components: first up, then down, then left then right, and then the upper layer. The size of the pasted component is related to the insertion position. When inserted into a new line, the height of the original component is maintained and the width is adaptive; when the inserted position is not a new line, the height of the component is adaptive according to the insertion position and width.
