How to Make Chinese-style Table

Freestyle tables are different from tables or pivots. The data patterns displayed by tables or pivots are fixed and cannot meet the needs of different users. However, freestyle tables are flexible and can meet user's requirements for specific forms of tables. Take the sales of product types as an example to introduce you how to make the freestyle table.

 

1.Add Component

From the right Component pane, drag and drop the freestyle table  to the editing area.

 

2.Bind Data

1)Select a cell and click on the Calculation pane on the right.

2)Select a data segment to be displayed in the type, such as the dimension "Product Type", set the aggregation mode to "None", and set the data extension type to “Vert.”.

3)Select the cell next to "Product Type" and click the Calculation pane on the right.

4)Select a data segment to be displayed in the type, such as the measure "Sales", setting the aggregation mode to "Sum", and setting the row parent to "Product Type".

3.Set Table Style

Click on the blank cell and select [Delete] -> [Delete Column] in the right-click menu to delete the extra columns. Select [Delete] -> [Delete Row] to delete the extra rows.

Finally get the following freestyle table.
