Use Date Parameter

Previous pageReturn to chapter overviewNext page

The parameter component is an input type object, whose function is to assign values to parameters;

The name property of the date parameter plug-in represents a pair of parameter names: for example, name the date parameter component A, and the existing parameters a_Start and a_End. When "relative date" and "time span" are selected on the component, it is equivalent to assigning parameters. When filtering output components (such as charts, tables, crosstabs, text, and meters), you can use the parameters a_Start and a_End. For example, add a filter condition to the transaction date field to "the transaction date is between ?{a_Start}and ?{a_End}, indicating that the data of the specified time period is filtered. As the user enters different values, different results are filtered out.

This chapter mainly introduces how to create date parameter plug-ins, how to define properties, and various interactive functions.
