Note: Yonghong Y-Reporting does not support brush function.
Brush functions are available in tables, pivots, and charts and are not supported in other components. The brush button is displayed at the top right of the component when the mouse is hovered over the component area.
❖Brush function
After entering the "Brush" mode, the dimension information of highlight area will be sent to screen the data of other components. The affected components can be tables, pivots, freestyle tables, charts, texts and gauges.
For the table including group total, click group total row to send out all dimension information of such table after the brush mode is entered, and the brush function cannot be used for total row. (The detailed introduction of group total and total are in the table)
❖Entering brush mode
1.The user can directly click brush button to enter the brush mode.
2.You can also double-click the inside (not including the title area) of a table or pivot, or the mark, legend, or axis of a chart to enter the brush mode.
➢Note:If there is no information under "Dimension" for the component, the brush mode cannot be enabled.
❖Using brush function
As shown in the figure below, click on the brush button of the table component to enter the brush mode. Click on “Florida” and the line is in the highlighted state. Send the dimension information that is TYPE is Regular and STATE is Florida. The chart is affected by the table. Corresponding The marker is also highlighted and the chart's brush button is not selected to indicate that the chart is the affected object.
For other components, including tables, pivots, freestyle tables, texts, and gauges are not displayed in a highlighted state, but are filtered.
