Filter Tree has a filtering effect on other components (text, tables, pivot, gauges, charts) that are bound to the same data source.

 

❖Data linkage between Filter Trees and other components

Assume that a data source contains three data segments: market, market_size, and ID. The data is shown in the following table:

1)Create a new Filter Tree on its bound data segment.

2) Create new pivot, texts, meters, and charts. Bind them to the data segments in the same data source as the Filter Tree. The data segment to which the text and the instrument are bound is ID, sum of IDs, and crosstabulation. The chart is an aggregate table. The data before filtering, as shown below:

3) After filtering by Filter Tree, as shown below.
